SCEPTRE CES 2017

SCEPTRE CES 2017 showcases many new products including Ultra-High definition (UHD) 4K televisions and curved monitors. We bought over 25+ new samples to demo at Bellagio® Resort & Casino, Las Vegas NV.
I was involved in planning, follow up & testing, logistic, setup and demo for this event.
Here is the small summary:
Planning: Attent the internal meeting 1 month before the CES.
Testing: Follow up the samples arrival time with the oversea vendors, and testing out the samples before the event.
Logistic: Packing, loading and transfer the samples to Las Vegas and return to Los Angeles after the event.
Setup: Unpack and setup the samples accordingly the plan.
Demo: Demonstrate, explain and answer visitors, buyers questions.

Started Wordpress in 2017

I have decided to dedicate my time to update my Wordpress. First of all, it is directly implemented to my website: KaKeiLee.com/blog
It was challenged but fun to figure out how to transfer my exists Wordpress blog posts from Wordpress.com to my personal website. Although keeping up the work to update my blog is very challenge, I have so much fun to share my words to my friends and to the world. I also started to learn and implement the Affliate program strategies to my website as well

Rebuild KaKeiLee.com Homepage

In 2017, I have completely rebuild my personal website KaKeiLee.com. A website is very important to me espeically I build everything from the scratches using Adobe Dreamweaver CC. I type in most of the codes. In the beginning, I thought building a website is very difficult. However, once the structure is set, it is very easy to add more content. Now my webpage serves me many purposes: (1) looking for jobs; (2) apply affliate program knowledge; (3) Real project apply the HTML / CSS coding experience etc. Very fun!

Started Amazon Review

In 2015, I have started to write product reviews on Amazon. In the beginning, I do this for fun. I got many low cost or sometimes free products to write about. I had chance to pick the one that I want to write about. I would share my personal experience after using the product.
In 2017, I have started to do the video reviews. I did spend time to learn about Adobe Premier Pro CC 2015 and make the video reviews. I think doing the video reviews is more fun. Now I am ranked at the top 3000 Amazon reviewer in USA, and the ranking is still going up.

Started Youtube Channel

As I stated above, I started the video reviews in 2017. At the same time, I also upload my Amazon video review onto my Youtube channel. Hopefully, my Amazon video reviews can reach more people in the world.
Youtube channel is a whole different level of marketing plateform. Youtube helps me to understand more how people marketing their products and learning SEO knowledge.

Started Etsy Seller Account

In 2017, I have started my Etsy Seller Account. My first product is Personalized Real Wood Keychain. Engraved customer's initial to a piece of real wood as a keychain. It is absolutely gorgeous and unqiue. As we all know, Etsy is the best platform to sell handmade products. Therefore, I am trying my luck to learn and sell stuff on Etsy. Fun and great experience.

Out-source position to oversea

In 2017, I have successfully out-source graphic position to oversea. Help company saved couple thousands monthly for having an in-house graphic designer position. Not only that, reduced the team work load, simplified and speed up the product launching time. By doing that, it is possible to launch 15 products within 2 months with super low defects rate. This is exactly what I did at Sceptre in April to June 2017.
Define and create a detailed guideline / standards is crucial. By communicate with upper management and the team, the guideline will be simple defeined well. Fine tune the guideline after every projects. The standard has to written in English and the language the task worker must understand. In my case, English serves USA office workers while Chinese serves the supplier workers.
